This is a four day course approved by the Health and Safety Executive that complies with the HSE regulations 1981. First Aid is a legal requirement within the workplace.

Upon successful completion of the course your delegates will be presented with the nationally accredited HSE First Aid at Work certificate which will be valid for three years. This enables the holder to act as first aider in the workplace under the 1981 regulations.

This is a two day course approved by the HSE that complies with current regulations for those wishing to re-qualify as a First Aid at Work certificate holder.

The course is open to people nearing the end of their qualification and subsequently, all delegates must still be in possesision of a current certificate. Any person whose qualification has expired will have to attend our four day First Aid at work training course in order to re-qualify.

 The course will include a revision of all topics covered in the four day course together with any new information and procedures which may of been introduced since the delegate last attended a course.

 

 Course Award

 Upon successful completion of the course delegates will recieve a First Aid at Work certificate approved by the HSE. This qualification will be valid for a further three years.

 Appointed Person

 This is a one day course for those who wish to gain knowledge of emergency procedures and attain a recognised qualification in First Aid.

Where an employers risk assessment for First Aid needs identifies that a qualified First Aider is not necessary the minimum requirement for the employer is to appoint a person to take charge of First Aid arrangements.

 

 By the end of the course candidates will be able to demonstrate knowledge and the skills needed to deal with life threatening emergencies in the workplace. The student will recieve a certificate recognised by the Health and safety executive which will be valid for three years.

 This two day course in Emergency First Aid is an extension of the Emergency First Aid for the Appointed person course and has been developed for those who are responsible for the supervision of children and babies (ofsted guidelines). This will be particular interest to Child minders and Creche Assisstants, Playgroup Personnel and anyone responsible for youth organisations.

 

 The aim of the course is to provide those persons with a knowledge and understanding of First Aid procedures when working with children and babies along with the ability to recognise illnesses and childhood conditions.

Through an on going assessment throughout the two days all successful candidates will recieve a Health and Safety executive recognised certificate, Emergency First Aid for the Appointed Person, which will be valid for three years.
